Local and Knowledgeable

Meghan D. Rae, of Manifest Legal, LLLC, was raised in Hawaii and graduated from Kailua High School. She has deep roots in the local community and a profound understanding of the legal landscape in the state. Meghan graduated law school with honors at Seattle University and eventually returned to her beloved home state to focus on expanding her practice in Hawaii. Since then, she has worked on tax resolution matters, business law, personal injury, probate and estate law. As part of its commitment to Hawaii, Manifest Legal caters to the unique needs of individuals and businesses in Hawaii. Like Manifest Legal, Schack Law Group served its community after the 2007 San Diego Wildfires. It has continued advocating for fire survivors for the last decade and hopes to bring that knowledge to those affected in Maui.

Hawaii Roots

We have a team of attorneys based in Hawaii that have personally experienced the devastating effects of the Maui Fire. Attorney Megan Rae grew up in Kailua and is committed to seeing Maui recover. Attorney Shannon Yarber is also committed to the Hawaii community having pursued her legal education at the University of Hawai’i’s Richardson School of Law. Shannon has lived in Kailua for the last 15 years and has developed a deep connection with the Islands, having founded SKY Kombucha in Hawaii. Given these local roots, we will continue to live and work alongside our clients for years to come. As such, we are personally committed to achieving the best outcome for every client and the community.

Our team has extensive insurance, wildfire and disaster related litigation experience. Alexander Schack was lead counsel against Sempra Energy in the 2007 San Diego Wildfire Litigation, the largest fire case in California history, and obtained substantial settlements for over 300 clients. In addition, Natasha Serino was co-liaison counsel for plaintiffs in the 2017 Canyon Fire Litigation against Caltrans. We have also worked on other cases against utilities involving fires and gas leaks including the 2019 Kincade Fire, the Porter Ranch Gas Leak Litigation, and the 2019 Saddle Ridge Fire. Given our team’s vast experience, we are well equipped and ready to address your fire-related claims, answer insurance questions, and otherwise assist with your recovery.
